Fredy Sprenger is one of the international referees joining the U21 European Championship 2026. Since becoming an international referee in 2019, he has officiated at several major faustball tournaments across Europe and beyond, including the Men’s Champions Cup in Austria and the Men’s and Women’s World Games in Birmingham.
His experience is particularly valuable in a tournament like this, where calm decisions, clear communication and strong control of the match are essential. Across his international appearances, he has shown a reliable standard in demanding situations and has built confidence in both men’s and women’s competitions.
Read more →Stefan Bergler brings a particularly strong mix of playing experience and officiating experience to the U21 European Championship. After an active playing career from 1974 to 2014, he developed into a highly experienced national and international referee. He has been an A-grade referee since 1994 and an international referee since 2004.
Over the years, he has officiated at many national and international tournaments, including German championships and several European and world-level competitions. His long career has given him a deep understanding of the physical and tactical demands of top-level faustball, as well as the importance of calm and consistent decisions.
